Ingredients

  • 100 - 150 gms Murmure / Puffed Rice
  • 1 small bowl Peanuts
  • 1 small bowl Chana
  • 5 - 6 Garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2 Lemons
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sarson
  • 1/2 teaspoon Jeera / Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Til / Sesame
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Haldi
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar (preferable powder)
  • Salt to taste
  • 10 - 12 Curry Leaves
  • 2 - 3 tablespoon Oil

Recipe Type: Evening Snacks

INSTRUCTIONS:                                                                                 

  1. First warm up oil in a Pan / Kadai and add Sarson & cook for 1 min
  2. Then add Garlic and Saute for 1 – 2 mins
  3. Add Jeera, Til, Curry leaves, Red Chilli Powder, Haldi, Salt to taste & Squeeze lemon and mix well. Keep stirring continuously
  4. Cook it for 2 – 3 mins or till the Lemon juice gets dry. Mix well and make sure it won’t burn. Keep stirring continuously
  5. Then Add Murmure, Peanuts, Chana & Sugar and cook for 5 mins. Mix well
  6. Let it cool at room temperature and Store it in a air tight container
  7. Serve as a Evening Snacks

* You can also add finely chopped onions & serve for added flavor.
