INGREDIENTS:
- ½ Kg Kala Chana (soaked overnight)
- 8 – 10 Garlic Cloves
- 25 – 30 gms Ginger
- 5 – 6 Green Chillies
- Salt to Taste
- Oil for Deep Fry
- 8 – 10 burger buns (White or Whole wheat)
- Plain Mayonnaise or Mint Mayonnaise
- For Garnishing – Cut the Onion into round thin slices
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wash the Chana properly, add Garlic Cloves, Ginger, Green Chillies and grind into a thick batter (add very little water if required)
- Add Salt to taste, mix well (just before deep fry, depending on the quantity to serve)
- Heat oil in a Kadai, drop a spoonful of batter in oil and deep fry the pieces till it is cooked or golden brown
- Cut the bun from the middle (Optional toast both parts on the tawa with little oil or butter), apply Mayonnaise on the one portion of the burger
- Take bottom of the bun, put 2-3 Chana Kebabs on it, top it with Onion slices and close the burger with top bun
- Serve hot with Sauce / Ketchup
