TAWA MASALA BAINGAN/EGGPLANT

Ingredients

  • 2 medium size Baingan / Eggplant
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dhaniya / Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Amchoor / Mango Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Recipe Type : Side Dish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash the Baingan / Eggplant and cut into thin round slices
  2. Heat 2-3 tablespoon of oil on tawa and spread the slices. Flip both sides (add little more oil if required) and cook until the slices are cooked from both sides
  3. For Masala (make according to the quantity of baingan): In a small bowl, add Red Chilli Powder, Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder, Garam Masala, Dhaniya / Coriander Powder, Amchoor / Mango Powder & salt and mix well
  4. Add the masala prepared on each slice and spread well. Serve hot
